Symbol mark was created with KM&I alphabets as motif, imagifying KM&I on top of the earth expressing expansion into the world.
Also, each alphabets have their ends elongated to teh left, being designed to show futuristic and dynamic image, and the 'V' in the middle part of 'm' indicates victory and 'I' indicates number
1. The symbol mark constructs KM&I's psychological oneness, and represents KM&I's image in terms of communication to the outside.

Signature systematically combines symbol mark and logo type, and is a corporate indication system directly expressing KM&I's image. Signatre is applied to various media such as product, commercial, sign system and document style, therefore vertical and horizontal versions are created to fit the function. Consequently, when using the signature, there is no preferred standard for vertical or horizontal version, the signature cannot be arbitrarily changed in terms of ratio, interval or size, and where reproducing, data from this manual must be used, using printing by computer or phototype copy process using manuscript.

Exclusive colors form unique color image and applied to various factors such as symbol mark and logo type, and has an important role of communicating KM&I's image, therefore accurate color control is required. Standard color of KM&I symbol mark and logo is KM&I BLUE and chromatic colors other than KM&I BLUE may not be used. However, for special effect gold, silver and achromatic colors (black, gray) may be used with limitation.
